Realist
Hi all, My van is static with a size 17 awning and internal decking so. ..... Moved pitches last week and for some reason I'm now finding that the awning bottom is hitting the floor more why I don't know. I've not wound the stabilisers up cos I've been told they are just that stabilisers and not to be used to fully support the van. The ground is solid concrete, level so do I now pull the awning out at an angle rather than down straight so it's fixed to the decking. If it's fixed to the decking straight as it was it looks ok but if I pull the bottom out it does not look right. Any suggestions. Edited September 17, 2014 by Realist Quote Thanks, Realist. dreadly
Possibly park on a couple of planks to add an inch or two to the van height? - The level feet are just to hold the van level but they do take a bit of force, you certainly would not want to jack the van up on them or anything though. Best let the wheels take the full strain. If you are parked up on a seasonal then I would consider using winter wheels maybe? I think this is ok? Peter1474
But how to get some planks under the wheels of a static? Think the op means it's static due to be seasonal. Look at his Sig block. Also I would imagine it impossible to get an awning on an actual static van. Quote This is not a dress rehearsal.

Glen and Les
Doh! Thanks and I was wondering about getting an awning on it. I'll retire to my shell in disgrace I wonder why no-one's developed an awning for a static? Isabella - could be a very lucrative market for you! Wow - that would cost!
