Carver Motormover

I have lost one of the square blocks that clamp to the chassis to stop motor mover moving away from the tyre when in use. The sites that i have looked at mention replacement handsets, rollers and bearings but not what i am looking for. Can anybody suggest where I might be able to source a replacement?

Have you tried contacting Truma/Carver?

Roughing it . . but in comfort . .

I've just looked at my Carver mover to see what's there. Having a garage full of old iron and the facilities for cutting, drilling and tapping threads, I would make something that would prevent the assembly from moving. If you take off the 'stop' from the other side, a local garage or engineering workshop would knock you up one for a few quid.

When I lost a similar block I approached a small workshop

to see if they would make one (we were away from home)

they gave me an RSJ clamp wkich did the job.

As a previous poster says, Truma/Carver spares http://www. arelectronics. co. uk/PDF/Truma_Carver_Caravan_Mover_M1. pdf

As Gumdrop says, an rsj beam clamp should do the job.

Never ask a man if he comes from Yorkshire. If he does, he'll tell you. If he doesn't, why humiliate him?

Thank you gentlemen for all your replies and suggestions. On the off chance I rang a local caravan dealer and a very helpful gentleman in their service dept said that if I popped down he would be able to sort me out with something. Once again thanks for your replies.
