eycaravanner
We recently changed our caravan and this is attached to the bedroom wall (see picture) Does anyone have any idea what it could be Thanks D
Durbanite
Possibly when a bunk fits. The pole would go into the hole. What make and model of caravan is it?
PaulR
It looks to me like the empty housing for a push in clock or led battery light. As it is at the foot of the bed above the tv table (I think) guess a clock. Edited September 14, 2014 by PaulR
eycaravanner
It's a Bailey Unicorn Valencia, it's right in front of the fixed bed the picture has turned itself round, it's above the Venetian blind at the foot of the bed Thanks D Tried picture again Oh thanks for your ideas, I doubt if it's for a light as there are lots of lights in the room, maybe it could be for a clock D
PaulR
I know the Swift & Fleetwood caravans we had in the past had clocks with a rubber fins around them that just pushed into the hole. Should still be available at dealers or ebay I guess. Have fun looking.
WispMan
I think clock as well. I bought mine off ebay so check the hole dia and buy one - they are quite cheap. Then put some paper over live end of battery when not in use, to save the battery. BrianI
It looks like a clock mount but the Unicorn should have come with a clock. Brian
eycaravanner
There is a clock in the lounge end, this wooded ring looks to have been retro fitted and the wood effect is different to the wall D Wooden not wooded
bob1982
It looks like a piece of timber in a circular shape stuck on the wall :-)
eycaravanner
But why?
PaulJohn
Certainly would not be the mounting point for a bunk bed. The Bailey wall is nowhere near strong enough. I vote for a clock mount - a bit of overkill though. Paul Quote 2009 2. 5 Kia Sorento2012 Bailey Unicorn Valencia
thecookster
It is definitely a clock - I recognise it; we had identical in our last Bailey. ....
