vgreen
I have bought a second hand awning which seems to be ideal, except! I have major problems getting the roof spars into the bracket pads. It has aluminium poles that are joined together but the ends are very curled and to get them through the loops provided means waving about with great danger of denting the caravan and or braining the helper! I have read that Isabella or Dorema brackets are easier to manage so bought some but the very curly ends do not go into these at all. To use them I would need to have simple hooks on the ends of the roof poles. Has anyone done this and if so how. Cutting off the curl has been suggested!
