Deanne
Can any other member with a Bailey Orion tell me if their control panel is the same as in the owners booklet I. e. Oblong in shape or is it a long rectangular one. Had mobile guy out today who said it was the wrong panel according to whale website and the book, we are having issues lighting it on gas. Cvan1
Hi you need to get it to an actual whale specialist or a bailey agent to look at your heater as your mobile chap doesn't seem to know what hes looking at. You should have a rectangular switch with two rotary controls and a couple of leds. More than likely there is a fault with the heater. If you turn your mode selector dial all the way to anti clock wise and then all the way clock wise a couple of times it will reset the system. If your trying to light it on gas and its failing the red led will flash in sequence and if you make a note of the pattern then call whale they will be able to give you advise on what the fault could be. MillieDog
I would suggest contacting Whale directly (contact details on their web site). First hand experience, they are a most helpful company. Phone them and talk through your issue.

You are correct the image in the book is not the panel in the van. Have you looked at section 4. 2. 6 Page 4-8 in the handbook regarding regarding gas lockouts ? There is also a gas tap in the pan cupboard for the heating which I didn't realise was there at first as I don't think it is mentioned in the handbook, make sure it is switched on obviously. John W
Are you getting 4 flashes on the LED? That indicates an air flow problem, for some reason my exhaust gets water in which sits in the U bend in the pipe. Quite annoying as twice now I have had to empty the pipes of water. I don't wash around the exhaust at all and after the first time I made a cover and it still occurred. Weird!
Deanne
Thanks for replies, might not of made myself clear it was as Ian states I'm querying the image in the book is different . My mobile guy has said there is problem with the heater, it won't light and we are not getting any LED lights, so having a claim under warranty but have been given quite the runaround since this was first pointed out at its first service beginning of August. John W
Have you checked the fuse? I know you probably have but it would save a trip to the dealer? The image in the book and the actual panel are different on mine too.

perksm
Have had the lockout happen a couple of times. If you follow the proceedure in the book it should reset the panel. Daft question. ..is there gas in the bottle
Deanne
It's a warranty claim as previously suspected, doesn't fire up and no lights on the panel, dealer putting in claim.
