adria
Hi Can you use a Winterhoff Stabiliser hitch on an Al-Ko chassis caravan, as this save having the extended towball. gumdrop
Cheaper to change the towball surely? I do like the Winterhoff though.

Marks
15 to 20 quid for a new towball, or 300 odd for a new hitch, why would you. Quote Land Rover Discovery and Conquerer
Superpete
15 to 20 quid for a new towball, or 300 odd for a new hitch, why would you. That is only if you buy new from dealer. However, the cost could be MUCH LESS from a breaker. It is a used caravan, it should have a used hitch. Paul_B
I have a winterhoff hitch and found that the reversing sensors picked up the alko ball, no problems when I fitted a standard ball. The other plus of being able to use a standard towball is that it's compatible with tow trucks. Marks
I will be brutally honest, the last thing I would want attaching together the two most expensive things I own apart from the house, is something I got from a scrapyard.
