in2wilderness
Hi everyone, Has anyone got experience of an Abbey York Rose 570 who can advise eg about any pitfalls/ problems with buying 12 year old van, and any advice I need to be aware of with this particular van? I'm just about to buy a 2002 model. I haven't owned one before, though my parents did and we had lots of great family hols in a caravan. Thanks guys. Rob PS The dealer I'm thinking of buying it from gives a year's warranty Edited August 27, 2014 by in2wilderness
tony80
Hi wilderness I don't have knowledge of your particular van but what I will say is you'll love every minute of touring. I've only had my van for two years and we've been all round the UK and to France in July. As for the van I'm sure you'll know there will be more maintenance than a newer van but parts are fairly cheap so long as there's no damp. I currently own a 2008 Bailey which has been superb but I now feel the van is starting to age and I fully expect more maintenance in the future. We bought the van to see how we'd get on and we've loved every moment. We've been away so much were now thinking of buying a new van at the NEC in October.
