Anyone Know What These Are In Awning?

We have inherited a 10 year old Isabella Forty awning, we've erected it a few times and have no problems with it but it has 4 fabric 'supports' inside, one on each side of the main entrance door which is in the centre of the front panel and one on each side wall near the caravan.

I've attached pictures and hope somebody can explain what they are used for.

Thanks

Lee

They are for horizontal poles to fit into.

Either used for keeping curtains tight to the fabric, folding down the awning sides or placing towel etc over to dry.

My assumption would be for veranda poles, so you can drop the zip-out sides down for a cooling air flow.

How fabulous to be camping in a place where you need a permanent sunshade!

We had no use for one this bank holiday
