Isuzu D-Max Owners

Would appreciate an answer from a D-Max owner.

Does your pick up have a wind down window between the cab and the loadbay?

Looking for a pick up but the dog would be traveling in the bed (under a hardtop) so having access while driving would be good. ..

Thanks.

Having nearly ordered a DMax I don't believe it does. I also don't have that in the Navara and our dog travels in the back and I've never found it a problem that we can't access him from inside the truck TBH.

Thanks for that.

Saves me hunting down a Navara owner and pestering them too.

We looked at a L200 the other day and the wife liked that "feature"...

It's not the end of the world but every little helps.

Why did you choose the Navara over the DMax if you don't mind me asking. ..?

I didn't get much choice in the end as mine is a company truck and my boss already has a Navara himself. I prefer the styling of DMax but having test drove both preferred the way the Navara drives, it just seemed more refind and more eager to go (mines the 190 so more power than the DMax). The DMax is still a very good pickup and you get a lot of pickup for the money and you get a 5 year warranty as opposed to three year with the Navara. Its all very personal though and would recommend a test drive of both. There's a couple of happy DMax owners on here as well, sure they will be along soon.

L200 has sliding window last time I checked but not the same power as the DMax or Navaras.

My L200 has an electrically operated up/down rear widow (bottom of the range Trojan).

If your going down the pickup route the new 2015 Navara is on its way with a new Euro 6 engine .

Less power though to the old models .

Mike your Trojan is more mid-range, 4Life and 4Work are both lower spec than yours.

Really? The point I was making was that it's definitely not top of the range and it still has an electrically operated rear window. I didn't even know about the 4Life and 4Work models. Nice to know I'm not bottom of the pile :) . Life is good again :D:D :D
