caraman1
We have just been on a Site in France where my Martingdale neon tester showed an Earth Fault on the supply so I did not use it but ran the cable over a roadway to another bollard. Another Motorhomer came and attached to the original bollard, I told him of the problem but he said it didn't matter. He later told me his tester showed the supply was OK. What could cause this problem and was I right to take the 'slight' risk of running the cable across the roadway only about 6 cars passed over it whilst we were there. WispMan
You were right to err on the safe side. Leave the MH owner to do what they want as you have at least told them. CommanderDave
Could it be a fault with one of your appliances ? or his tester was not as sensitive . If the cable you run across the road if it was on any stones the tyres can make it get punctured as they run over it .
