Jiffy176
I'm going to set up a panel that will keep by battery charged during the winter months. It will be free standing and connected via an Anderson connection situated by the ehu socket. There is no other draw on the battery other than this but I'm not sure if a 10w would be sufficient or to go for 20w. My battery is a 75ah numax. I have a 20w sunsaver controller that the panel will charge through any suggestions? The longer term goal is to get an 80w panel that I can use off ehu hence why I am wiring a connector in the ehu box. Thanks. Steve.
gumdrop
A 32watt panel with a controller is about right,if you can use a 20watt without buying anything else fair enough.
Jiffy176
Could I use a 20w with controller?
Paul_B
You would be better going through the controller and your controller is a good one. Its advisable to use a controller on a 110 battery if the panels are over 18 watts Quote Paul B . .......Mondeo Estate & Elddis Avanté 505 (Tobago)
