CBBC
We are seriously thinking about changing our van. Our old Bailey has the Alko 3004 Stabilizer head and the new van (Pegasus Ancona) has the same stabilizer but has a newer type handle. Will my old Alko hitch lock still fit the new van? I think I read on here that I would need a newer type one. gooney1971
I asked the same question when we picked up our new van, it fitted perfectly. I might be wrong on yours, but I'm sure it will fit. .. matelodave
Yes, we've been using ou ALKO hitchlock on the last four vans - this one now has the black handle and it fits perfectly Quote 2018 S-Max Titanium 2. 0 Tdci (177. 54bhp,180ps,132kw) Powershift + 2015 Unicorn III Cadz, Ventura Marlin porch awning

Townie
You should be ok. We used ours on the last van, (2002 Swift), which had the red handled stabiliser, and it fits the new van, (2013 Swift) with the black handled stabiliser. Maybe you can take the hitch lock with you when you next go to see the new van. Mike Quote 2014 SsangYong Rexton W towing a 2017 Sprite Major 4EB. (After June 9th). gmc15
Dave, It may fit,but perfectly ?? Worst job in caravanning putting that damn thing on. Ian Ian, are you confusing the ALKO hitchlock with the wheel lock? as the hitchlocks are dead easy to fit. reluctant
Just a thought. ... Take it to the dealers. .If it does fit, great, if it doesn't could you negotiate a new one with the dealer as a clincher to make you buy the van. ...... Quote Trevor.
