jordonjb
Hi! Sorry if this is in the wrong thread Can any one recommend a mobile caravan engineer in the Leeds area to have a look at the electrics in my caravan. Got an issue with the 12v loom In quite a hurry as well, we've booked a site in Cornwall for the bank holiday weekend! Thanks JB

jordonjb
Still non the wiser. I rang John Rhodes and took the battery to him, he tested it and it showed the battery was 'bad' condition, but it recovered from the test so he recommended charging it for a long period to try bring it back to life, he was unable to have a look at the caravan before going away. But told me a few tips with the wiring and said I could ring him and he'd talk me through some stuff (very helpful). So fingers crossed it's all down to a dead battery, the caravan had supposedly been dry stored for 2 years before I bought it. J
Lee21
If you get stuck. ..this chap covers your area too. I used him to service my caravan as the dealer was booked up for 4 months. Very good I would recommend him highly. Nice chap, very accommodating came to do mine on a Sunday morning as I was in a bit of a predicament. I think his name is Tom if I remember correctly. I was recommended him by someone I bumped into in the storage facility who worked with him before he left and set up doing this http://www. dthcaravanservices. co. uk
TonyJover
. ..the caravan had supposedly been dry stored for 2 years before I bought it. J If the battery wasn't charged in all that time then it'll need replacing. Tony
