Hi I've just had twin electrics fitted to my car what switches do I turn on when towing so the fridge works and the battery charges up pls can someone help

Switch the fridge to the battery sign. Then the fridge will ONLY work when your car is running. Remember to switch the fridge to 240V or gas when you arrive on site.


Charger - modern vans charge automatically when 240V EHU is attached. Older vans may have a Charger ON/OFF switch.

Read the manual of the caravan - it should cover things like that. NB Swift group manuals are available online for quite a few years back.


Battery charging while on tow is switched automatically on modern setups, but on older 'vans often the CAR-OFF-VAN switch had to be in the OFF position.


Fridge has been covered so I won't repeat that.
