Charger And Wiring Identification?

can anybody shed any light on this lot? as I have no idea about all I know is it says battery charger!!!!!

The first picture is just your mains fuse board, the second picture is of what looks like an old car battery charger that you would have in your garage to charge your car battery.

The charger is a 'Davenset Junior' knocked out in the fifties.

The charger is a 'Davenset Junior' knocked out in the fifties.

It contains a transformer and a finned metal rectifier and nowt else other than air.

The first picture is just your mains fuse board, the second picture is of what looks like an old car battery charger that you would have in your garage to charge your car battery.

It is not your fuse board but circuit breakers, as in modern installations.

My Dad used to have one of them!

My dad did as well, used it to charge the battery on his old (newish then) MK 1 Jag.

 

State of the art then.
