Leaking Battery Box

Recommended Posts

Hi all

The battery box on our Bailey Monarch leaks in water when it rains, the seals look in good condition but they can be dislodged at the top when closing the door if you're not careful when closing it, when closing I have to push the door downwards away from the frame.

Even when the seals are in place it still leaks water and fills the battery tray. Is it a major problem removing the battery tray? the last caravan we had did not have a battery tray so not sure if they are really necessary.

You MUST retain the battery tray! (I've read it somewhere  )
