robertm
We have a Verona II and I was just wondering something about the fridge. I assume it is the same across the range but basically you can remove the freezer compartment for a bigger fridge. When the freezer is left in, there is an internal wire shelf that takes away a lot of freezer space. Is this ok to remove to give you more freezer space without causing any temperature issues. We're off to France and would like as much freezer space as possible. RegardsRobertFord Kuga 150 TDCI Titanium. Bailey Pegasus II Verona
Hinj
We have a Valencia mk1 with the same fridge and tried without the shelf in for more room, but swmbo found the fridge didn't perform so well, so put it back in. She has found the small gap underneath the tray is ideal for her ice cube trays to slide under and is now quite happy to leave the shelf in. djadria
We always have ours removed - unless u want to make ice cubes - then it helps by supporting food above - and ice cube tray slides under
xtrailman
Just asked the wife, she says if you try to use the area under the shelve then they can stick, so she doesn't bother, ours is always full with meat and a couple of ice packs. With our fridge we found that 10 past is ok to give a very cool fridge of around 3. 5 degrees C, in the early days we found if the stat was at half past (as we did with our Senator), then the fridge area also froze! So you have that option available. Edited July 26, 2014 by xtrailman
