shipbroker
There does seem to be a grey area here, friends in Durham Police said that that it depended on speed limits and street lighting. .......... but when a neighbour in our village asked North Yorks they suggested treat it as a skip and put a light on the rear, geoff Quote Kia Sorento KX-1 CRDI 4WD towing an Elddis Affinity

reluctant
car and trailer when coupled class as a vehicle combination and parking on the road is exactly the same as for any other vehcle with trailer attached (eg artic and trailer) Must not cause an obstruction, must not be too close to any junction, must display position lamps during lighting up times. So long as these rules are followed should not be a problem Quote Trevor.
Mr_B
Yes it is perfect legal to park with an attached trailer (or caravan) on any highway where parking is legally permitted, parking the caravan or trailer on a highway with no towing vehicle attached that causes problems !!!
