When you select any operation the corresponding led flashes as it sets up, if then it continues to flash but more slowly, this is a fault condition and the first fault is low battery voltage.

If though you are certain the voltage is ok, then the problem will be a pcb fault so more serious, I can help with that.

No not really, to work at all it needs 12v to run the electronic control, as then it has no battery it must be running direct off the built in 12v power supply/charger which should actually be 13. 8v, then low voltage is not the problem unless there is a poor connection somewhere?

Also and as it appears you've had it a while, has the fan been noisy at all recently? or anything else out of the ordinary?

Does your other 12v stuff work? lighting? water pump? were you shown it working or at least told the fanmaster worked?

If it does and assuming you were told it worked and there is not a blown fuse in the fanmaster 12v supply?, then the fanmaster should work, after that it would appear to be faulty and in need of attention.

Well there is some 12v about because the control switch is flashing so at the very least that's powered up, this then will be from the battery charger when hooked up to the mains.

Unless then you know/trust the seller? it's my experience they are seldom as 'non savvy' as they makes out, that opinion being many times reinforced by others that get in touch with similar queries over the years?!!

So for the moment I'd suggest you arrange to ring me while your at the van, or perhaps, do you know anyone that's more clued up to go with you and see what they can sort out?

Hi. Can you help me please, my fanmaster has stopped working. I have power going to the switch but nothing to the heater. all was working superfine last week when I tested it. Is there a fuse in the heater its self. if so can you tell me where it is, so that I can check it out. If not can you tell me what the problem might be. Many thanks.

Hi Norman, is your heating blowing cold air only? or is there nothing at all,  i have just stripped down my fanmaster 3000s as the fan motor has gone {so i am waiting for the new ones to arrive from china} so i can send a picture of the reset on the side of the casing but it depends which model you have.
