gaz_wba
Just want to make people aware of this chancer on ebay. He was originally trying to sell this van on Facebook, but informed its a 92 model not 97 model. Since then put it on to at least two different ebay accounts, each time listing it as a 97 model not a 92 model. I even checked the CRiS number for him & showed him how to age it. ... with it now being a trade company its totally dodgy http://www. ebay. co. uk/itm/1997-Bailey-discovery-caravan-4-Berth-Immaculate-Cond-Cheap-Bargain-PX-SWAPS-/111270058843?pt=UK_Campers_Caravans_Motorhomes&hash=item19e8365b5b

milkymarsh
I love the comments. ... She has 3 skylights which have been resealed as one was letting in water - no damage caused!! EXTREMELY LIGHT AND WE TOWED IT WITH A 1. 4LTR Have a look in the pic with the oven in, and the wall edge has peeled. That's more like an 80's van than a late 90's one
gaz_wba
If that is the case then it should be reported to eBay when you try the options are limited and are of a drop down variety, no option there to tick "Title is complete Bull****" surprised me that I saw it on face book and queried it at the time. The big blue stripe rang the alarm bells with me. ...obviously covering something! i saw that, listing has now gone i think. ..
Trevor Marron
If that is the case then it should be reported to eBay Have you tried that? Caravanmedicswindon
Problem is some one who is new to caravanning will probably buy it totally unaware Exactly, there are far too many crooked people about dealing in caravans. ....similar to the car trade 20 odd years ago! Very easy to do as there is no mileage to tamper with or compulsory registration to deal with. Gordon
Interesting thread about an advert that certainly raises some questions. I've had a good look at this ad and looking at the interior images, the caravan has a Rose Comtesse oven, an Electrolux RM212 fridge and a Carver Trumatic SB1800 space heater all typical of the early '90s. If anyone lives locally, maybe they'd like to look a little closer? Quote Fourwinds Hurricane 31D Motorhome.
