tictag
I'm having an external gas point fitted to my 'van at some point this week. I'm guessing the installation would involve T'ing off the bulkhead manifold, copper pipe to the skin, standard BBQ point fitting with a regulator in the somewhere. Has anybody had this done? What kind of prices for a mobile Gas Safe engineer should I expect? £150, maybe?
Caravanmedicswindon
I would T off the copper pipe (after the regulator) through an isolation valve to you BBQ point of choice, Gas tightness test before and after modification. Parts would be approx £50, labour 1/1. 5 hours max. I would expect it to cost a lot less than £150.
