Dazza1974
I'm thinking of buying a 10 year old caravan for a starter to try out caravanning. My wife isn't enthusiastic but accepts it might be an economical way of regularly going on affordable holidays with 3 kids. Looking at the condition of some carpets and upholstery I was wondering if it's possible to clean them so they don't look so grotty?
Caravanmedicswindon
Yes. ..in exactly the same way you would in your house. If very grimy I suggest a local (to you) carpet and upholstery cleaner, they will probably only charge around £50 for a complete steam clean. Good luck Phil Edited January 25, 2014 by Phil O

Malc Edge
Carpets. ..simple replace them not going to cost that much and you know it's only you who have stood on them. .. I replaced the carpets on my van, I reckon all in cost less than £100. 00 braded around the edges looks so much nicer.
