New Submersible Hose

Went to the caravan storage today and did a couple of jobs. New water heater module fitted and working treat. I put a new filter in the crystal jobby. While the hose was out I noticed that the submersible looks like it's been there since the 'van was built in the 90's. ..and the twin hose.

So, my question is this. When I change the subby pump, do I have to use twin hose? I assume one side of the hosing is for the electric and the other is for the water. can I use single flexible hose? 10 or 12 mm? Or just use the twin hose? ta John

No John, you must use twin pipe. As you say one side is for drinking water and t'other is

for the wiring. You can buy a spare pipe and fixings. Fairly easy job to do. ;)
