Is that one of the old sewing machine treadles? If so, I've got the old Singer machine that sits on top!

Wouldn't say that Foghorn, Smashing wee well kept enclosed cosy garden. Wish I had the room to park my Van at the rear. It would be absolutely Minted pottering away. No allowed due to living in a conservation area. I'm sure someone would complain !

Mine was taken up the loft years ago. Could not get a replacement shuttle. Mum used it in the 50's The base was taken away before we traced one and then it was to late. Nice recycling by Rita. ;)

Ah the Singer treadmill!

Used to be my exercise machine when I was a nipper!

Think it's still at my fathers with the machine folded down into the top.

Rita

You'll get a machine here.

Not a clear picture but everything in the window is an old Singer machine.

Literally, hundreds upon hundreds of them.

You won't really get one it's just the window display for a (clothes?) shop.

My mum still has one and the sewing machine to go with it. She loves it!

As for our back garden, GAS's is lovely and I know what you mean about the decking - ours is like a landing strip and feels like you're painting the Forth Road Bridge! Not to mention the cost of the paint/stain :o

Yes, saw that in Glsagow (Buchanan St I believe) a week or so ago. Quite an impressive collection

Here's our before and after piccies, when we moved in three years ago and what it was like last Sunday. The power cable dont really enhance the view but apart from them it's quite good

not really - mostly my wife's work, I just cut the grass (when I must) and move the heavy stuff around.

View over my front wall.

Looking down the back garden. We still affectionately call it the 'jungle', it was waist high when we moved in! You might just make out the zip slide I built for my daughter & swing.

And if I walk up to the end I've got this. ..
