Project Le Mans - Racing For Charity

Recommended Posts

Here's a bit of news that we're very excited by and want to lend our support. Rebecca Jackson (a motoring journalist and racing driver) is aiming to enter the Le Mans 24 hours to support charities for Breast Cancer and underprivileged children.

Racing Driver Rebecca Jackson is on a four-year plan in a quest to compete at one of the most iconic races in the world, Le Mans 24 hours. After five podiums and a race win last season she is progressing through the Porsche marque and will be using a Boxster S this season before looking to move up to GT3 Cup Challenge and then Carrera Cup. Despite her affinity with Porsche she is not limiting herself as she is determined to fulfill her dream of racing at Le Mans.
Off the circuit, Rebecca can be found selling cars through her own company as well as reviewing them for Carbuyer, and writing for newspapers and magazines including The Sunday Times, Autoexpress and The Sun newspaper.
Project Le Mans is attracting much media attention, which has facilitated the involvement of companies as they share in the exposure. Her journey will continue to be heavily documented on social media, in magazines and newspapers and on TV.
Rebecca is using the project to support charities dear to her heart including raising awareness for Breast Cancer Research by wearing the pink ribbon on her red Porsche Boxster and taking part in the Run for Life. Profits from merchandising will be used to raise funds for Sentebale and Insituto Ayrton Senna, charities that do remarkable work for under privileged children.
The project is designed to fulfill a dream and to inspire others, after she was a Michelin Inspirational Woman 2012.
www. rebeccaracer. com has a News section, which is kept up to date with all the latest four-wheeled antics and updates about Rebecca’s racing.
