Does Size Really Matter?

Hello everyone,

Does anyone happen to know the correct 'A' size measurement for a Series 5 Senator Carolina, 2006 model? I spotted the dimensions somewhere but I can't remember if it is 1088 or 1188? I'm not due to collect the caravan until early next year, but I've found that many dealers are selling off this years awning ranges at considerable discounts. I'm not proud. .. i'll sleep under this years awning if it'll save me a couple of hundred quid!

Am I right in thinking that if, for example, the measurement is 1088, then I need to source an 1100 awning? If I bought a 1075 awning would this lead to problems if ( should that read when?) I pitch up on a site that is not entirely even/ gently sloping?

As ever guys (and girls, sorry!) your wisdom and experience is sought.

Regards

Defender ;)

The correct measurement for a Carolina is 1088cm from the Bailey website.

Either a 1075 or 1100 would be OK but I would tend to go for the 1100.

This is quite a large awning so will be heavy and take time to erect. Depending on your needs, you may wish to consider a large porch awning as an alternative.
