Alloy Wheels

Harvester, as long as the alloys are the same size as the ones you want to replace, thats fine. Its the tyres that really matter, not what they are fitted to.

You need the stronger reinforced tyres, as they take the full weight of the van between 2 of them for a single axle van.

For alloy wheels, try the internet for suppliers, some good deals to be had there, or your local motor factors, Halfords, etc.

Just to add the carvan wheel can have a different 'offset'..that is the distance the centre of the wheel at the point it attaches to the brake drum, is off centre to the rim.

It's not just the tyres that take the whole weight on one axle,it's the wheels as well. I seem to remember reading that alloys for caravans are stonger than standard car alloys. Maybe it was just a ruse to force you to buy from caravan outlets at 'inflated' prices. It could be worth checking. :)

Finding it impossible to find 5J X 13" 4 X 100 PCD 30ET Alloys anyway.

I have also been told from more than one source NOT to use car alloys, because the lack strength.

So will now settle with steel.

Never mind, they are much cheaper and easy to obtain B)

. ..and much less likely to get nicked - oh &^%&! my Carolina has 4 alloys and only 1 has a wheel clamp on it. Aaaargh lucky I got a 1 off set of locking wheel fixings made as a favour and the wheels are marked with micro dots making them traceable.
