Fuse Transformer Box

Hi All,

From:-

http://www. caravantalk. org. uk/forums/index. ..opic=3686&st=40

Turbelents mentioned the Fuse/Transformer box not being fitted as per the manufactures instruction. Well after all our problems with nose weight etc, I decided to check ours out on the 550/6. Guess what, ours is fitted with no regard to the manufactures stated air gaps.

We have just 15mm until the wooden slates, 50 mm to the front panel of the seat box, and 40mm to the floor of the caravan. One side has plenty of room.

The label states:-

BCA (In hatched area)

RANGER

DO NOT OBSTRUCT

PLEASE LEAVE AT LEAST

100mm CLEARANCE

AROUND THIS UNIT

Is anyone else a little concerned that Bailey aren’t sticking to manufactures guidelines when building their caravans?

Over the last few months there have been posts about Ovens, Hobs, Sockets, Light fittings, now we have my overrun device, coupling unit and these Fuse boxes.

How long before something terrible happens to one of us.

Cad
