Fleetwood Heritage Solar Panel

Recommended Posts

These were standard from 2008, what year's your van?

I'm not sure how to test, but cover the panel with a piece of carpet, disconnect the battery and measure the voltage at the unconnected terminals while someone partly uncovers the panel. You should see a reading.

If you leave the battery connected, turn everything off, make sure the van isn't connected to the mains. Use a multimeter on the volts rang and measure across the battery terminals, If the battery is not being charged then it should read about 12. 5-12. 8v. If the sun is shining and the solar panels are doing their job then you'll see 13. 5 or more, ideally about 13. 8 any more than 14:4 then get the regulator checked cos the battey will start to overcharge and gas
