Looking at buying a porch awning for winter use. Mainly for wet gear, wet dog etc. What size is best for my Swift challenger 570 SR? (2011)

Budget below £200, recommendations please.

Cheers M

You could try an 'Apache Monaco', stands up well in 60mph winds with awning stops in the rail. My van is a 2006 Sprite Alpine, front door. Cost new £250. 00 six years ago, you may get them cheaper now, have seen them at £190. 00, cannot remember where. You can get two chairs, small table and two dogs in with no problem, and the wet gear.

We have had one of these for about 6 years and it's still going strong it takes about 8 mins to put up and is great in the winter for coats We decided about 4 years ago to give up with a full awning and just stuck with this and it stood up to the snow well last Christmas and it's stood up to some strong winds in it's time, cheap and cheerful (£130) but a pig to try and get in the small bag that it comes in :D

We have a Sunncamp Swift, unsure what size it is (google) but it covers both the front lounge window and the bedroom window. Have used it a few times but means the windows are out of use so prefer to use the sun canopy. We also have a 390 lightweight awning which comes down behind the bedroom window so it opens into the awning, quite big but ideal for longer stays. 260 awnings also cover the bedroom window!
