Specialised Accessories Cover & Pegasus 534

Has anyone fitted a Specialised Accessories Cover to a Pegasus 534. Attempted to fit ours for the first time last weekend and think we may have the wrong cover.
There are two pouches sewn into the edge of the roof material, one one the left side for the gas flue and the other is on the right side, to the rear of the caravan and we think this one may be for the Roof Aerial base but in the wrong place.

We have a cover on ours made by Pro-Tec. Its specifically made for our peggy 624. It fits like a glove and well worth the price. Extra panels for aerial and gas flue in the right places and a door opening right where it should be.

We have just bought a Specialised Accessories cover and fitted it, although our van is a Unicorn so has no flue outlet on top.

There is just one pouch at the front offside for the aerial and the cover fits well but putting the cover on the caravan was certainly no picnic.

I suggest you ring the supplier, if you have not already done so. :)

I agree totally, we have recently bought a Pro-tec cover which comes with 2 telescopic pole. To fit the cover with those you need to be about 7 ft tall and have arms like a weight lifter. In the end we used 2 step ladders and managed to get the cover on by dragging it on. It fist our Genoa like a glove and we are quite pleased with it.

Thanks for all your replies

We bought the cover almost two years ago for our first Peggy and because of events then we never had chance to fit the cover.

I’ll measure the cover again after Christmas and contact Specialist Accessories with the batch number. Obviously due to the time lapsed I cannot see them replacing the cover if it does turn out to be wrong. It maybe the case it will still fit but with an addition pouch down the O/S/R or I have accessed the cover wrongly.

Must be honest though, up to know we have not missed using the cover and have managed to clean our Peggy twice since being stored for the winter in the middle of October and she is looking immaculate.

Think the trick is to always keep the roof clean.
