Your Questions Asked At The Nec

For most of us, getting far enough up the food chain with questions you want to ask the big manufacturers and importers to get the real answers can be difficult. If you're a "member of the public" they may try to get your dealer rep or someone to answer . . .

So I thought I'd try using my press access to ask your questions directly.

To avoid letting them know too early what questions might be, I'd like you to PM them to me, and to note the fact that you PM'd here.

Questions can be put more-or-less as you please, but I might feel obliged to "polite" them!

It's unlikely that I'll be able to get answers to individual cases, essentially because people being questioned won't have time to check their companies view of the topic history. But I'd still be interested in looking at some into the future, so . . .

The resulting videos will be shown on my Caravan Diary site and here on Caravan Talk, on the same day that they're asked, or the next day . . .

One more for the pile. Are you at the show in any official capacity ?

Just one point Chris.

Do you hope to have time to collate the questions and publish the answers on here.

I found over the years that people give more sensible answers and things even change if they know they are going to be named and shamed or conversely praised.

Thought for the day 'Dislexics of the world untie.'

The plan is to ask directors and senior staff these questions on their show stands, and film the conversations. The resulting video clips will be shown online on my Caravan Diary website, and linked here, so that you can see them.

My sincere thanks to everyone who has taken the time and trouble to think about my original request for industry questions - even those who've had a think and decided not to do anything about it! I'm delighted with the variety of questions, and the insights that I think some of them will give . . I also think that the answers we don't get will be quite revealing!

please don't post any more, however - I won't have time to answer any before hitching up and towing off to Brum on Monday!
