We’re delighted to announce details of our special 2012 Early Booking Offer for Camping Cheque clients in association with DFDS Seaways (the new name for Norfolk Line).

Book your 2012 crossing from Dover to Dunkerque with DFDS Seaways before 31st October 2011 and you could pay these unbeatable prices:

Car + 4 passengers: under £29 each way

Motorhome* + 4 passengers: under £37 each way

Car + Caravan* + 4 passengers: under £37 each way

PLUS: Half price VIP lounge upgrade*.

To qualify for this unbeatable offer you must purchase a minimum of 3 Camping Cheques with your ferry crossing (priced at £13. 95 each). Ferry prices quoted here are based on outward travel from Dover to Dunkerque on a Saturday or Sunday and inward travel on a Friday or Saturday. They apply to any sailing time on those days and all dates (until 15th December 2012). Prices on other days of the week vary by season and time of sailing but are also extremely competitive. For more information on how to obtain the best fare call our reservations team on 01580 214002 for a no-obligation quote or use our on-line quote and book system.

And remember, we always waive our administration charge with all Cheques purchased as part of a ferry package.

This offer is only valid until 31st October 2011 so we look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible to arrange your 2012 holiday at these unbeatable prices.

Don't forget that for those who can't use the Camping Cheques element there is always a ready market on this Forum and others. A quote for our dates (car only) means we'd be paying just £47. 00 for our return ferry crossing in May/June.

You can still phone them for a quote - there may be an extra £10 to pay - but it's still a good offer. Check out DFDS 'normal' prices for your outfit, on the dates you want, then try Camping Cheques and see what the comparison price is.

not so big john, as far as 26 cms over the 12 metre rule, would very much doubt they will come out with a tape measure, well they never have with me :D jim

Luckily we are no where near the length limit, but when checking in at Portsmouth last year did see them come out of the booth to check the length of one outfit - there are white lines painted on the ground at 1 metre intervals at the check-in booths!

The benefit booking with DFDS direct is that you can generally change your reservation without penalty. We did this last week returning from Dunkerque 6 days earlier than planned. They said that because we were on a caravan special fare there would be no amendment fee.

And another benefit is that they have only two heights on the Dunquerque route - under 2. 4m and over 2. 4m - none of this fussing about with every 0. 1 of a metre like other companies. We booked the caravan in at 2. 63m, then asked if we could travel with bikes on top of the car, which took the height to approx 2. 84m "No problem", was the reply, as "you have paid for overheight space". Excellent service.
