Can anyone explain how to use a Thetford cassette toilet? I saw videos on Youtube on how to empty them looks simple enough. What I want to know is how to flush it and what are the two knobs for on either side of the toilet. I know one is for flushing (not sure which) but what is the other knob for.

Thanks in advance

Is it the bench type? If it is, so far as I recall, the knob on the left is for opening the blade and activating the flush, and the one on the right has the toilet roll holder below it.

If its the bench type, then the round dial is pressed down to flush, and twisted counter-clockwise to open the blade, clockwise to close it.

Its a good idea to prime the bowl with a brief flush before use to prevent soiling. :)

If it's a manual flush bench type, then it doesn't have the toilet roll holder, instead, one opens the blade and the other twists to manually pump the flush.
