Awning Door Tie Back

Recommended Posts

I have Magnum awning but this will work for any awning with door as part of a zip-out panel less those where the top edge is angled.

Zip-out panels have 4 zip sliders and 2 of them will be somewhere along the top edge when zipped in. Open these 2 sliders enough so that a bulldog clip (or a couple of spring clothes pegs) can be inserted over the teeth onto the fabric. Clip doesn't show from outside cos normally a flap of fabric covers the zip. This stays there for the rest of the holiday! Zip open your door and fold back, opening the clip to take the teeth of the door top edge.

Voila - really neat and far less fiddly than the tie backs.
