Bunk Beds

I am new to caravanning and have recently bought a 1998 Trophy Cheltenham 500/4EB, i have worked out how to arrange the cusions when assembling the double bed and the bottom bunk but does anyone know if the top bunk has its own dedicated matress or are some the cusions used for the top bunk because if they are they must fit like a jigsaw!!

Very confused  pulling my hair out (good job i have plenty still)

My bunk bed has its own dedicated matress so no need to use seating cushions, i would imagine your van should have the same??

Hi firstimer,

I can on only presume then that at one time it may have its own matress, unfortunately i suppose over the years these things get damaged and never replaced, we have a pretty good indoor market that sells foam so i will have to make a new one as the size is 16" x 69" which is a bit of an odd size, my wife is pretty good on her sewing machine so it should have a pretty good matress by the time we have finished.

Thanks for your input.

Mick
