Senator Filter

I have a 2000 model Bailey Senator Arizona.

I was pleased with myself on how I prepared the caravan for over wintering following the step by step procedure in a caravan handbook for draining down the water systems.

To my horror several weeks later I read in my Bailey handbook that I had missed draining down the inline filter under the sink.

I took of the fridge vent to gain access to the pipework, no filter.

As a precaution I removed the sink and drainer, still no filter.

Can anyone throw any light on this mystery does the 2000 Senator range (and also Pageant range) have an inline filter and if so where is it!!

Not sure about MY 2000 but 2001 Pageants have an inline filter just below the kitchen cold tap.

Its a pain to change each year as the cupboard it's in is very narrow, only about 30 cm wide. It's now much easier as I've fitted a Filtapac Econoflow. Just unscrew the bottom of the filter, take out the old carbon pack, put the new one in and re-fit the bottom of the filter.

The filter will drain down by gravity when you drain the full system provided all the taps are open.
