Water Pump For Bailey Pageant Majestic?

Recommended Posts

Hiya all,

Im new to this forum and new to caravaning - bought my first caravan today and I can't wait to go away in her. I have a little problem, the water pump was not with the caravan and I was wondering where would I get one and does it have to be a specific type for my caravan?

Another query I have is that the little compartment on the outside where you open to get rid of waste will not open. I have 3 keys and one fits but it wont turn (even after a good dose of WD40! Where would I get one from? Any ideas.

Thanks for reading and I hope you can help me.

Regards newbie :)

There are several different water systems but the Bailey Pageant Imperial which I used to own had this system:-

Look at the inlet socket on the page then compare it with what is on your caravan. If it isn't the same, maybe you could take a picture of what you've got.

All the locks have a number. Without the number, it's not possible to get a new key. Last resort will be to break the lock and fit a new one.

Thanks for your reply,

the key thing is sorted - managed to get it to work eventually - i have taken a photo of the water socket and can't fathom how to upload it. I will try to explain it. It has 2 small holes one above the other and next to these (to the right) is a bigger hole.

Right think I have uploaded one now: http://twitpic. com/6apav1

Hi Kayleigh,

By the sounds of things it is a Truma Crystal Mk2 inlet (see picture below).

If this is the case, you have two options.

The Truma Crystal 2 Maxi Pump Assembly (Part No. 46100-01)

The other option is a the Whale Watermaster High Flow Pump (Part No. EP1622)

Hi Kayleigh,

In that case it is the Whale Dual Connector system.

There is a kit available with the pump and connector here. This seems to be the only place I can find that does a complete pump.

Failing that you would need separate parts i. e. submersible pump, connector etc. to make one up yourself.

Hi,

Given the good result above, I am hoping someone can help me with a water system query that i have. I have just bought a bailey pageant cabriolet 1991, same as this model, 1991 Pageant Cabriolet Model. If you look at the side of the caravan, you will see that it does not have an inlet socket for a submersible pump, rather a small hole on the side of the caravan. I am wondering do i need an inlet socket, what pump could i then use etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Your link just takes us to a Google search.   Take a picture of your pump inlet, then maybe someone here can help you.

And it would be better to open your own topic as this one is eight years old.
