why is it all the trim work in my compass corona 505 2007 is mdf round the door round the bathroom area and round the kitchen area where your bound to get water so it gets damaged we all know water and mdf don't mix :angry:

Initial cost ! (which could well be false economy)

ive had so much trim changed it must have cost them a fortune

MDF is a weighty material as well.

I must admit on our 2007 Sunstyle i have'nt seen any trim made of MDF in the van and up to now we've not had any issues with trim (probably spoke to soon!)

you can't really see its mdf until you take it off and look beind the trim

Do you mean the edging trim around the shelves etc?
