One thing I must say make sure the wiring on the car is up to the mark, suggest something like 4mm cable(Minimum) from the car battery and not from say a rear power socket Radiotwo Quote Steve - Land Cruiser Amazon Auto + Pageant Series 5 Champagne The match between car and caravan is perfect in accordance with a mix of European standards. However, according to the British Towing Code the percentage (loaded caravan / kerbweight tow car) is 49%.
Guest Taid
Be careful when switching to car when parked . . a lot of people have found the car wouldn't start when they next tried . . I think the facility was put in for those folk who don't have a 'van battery . . More modern 'vans have the stupid system of automatically switching to car when parked up and connected to the car . . designers following an idea to its illogical conclusion. I have put a relay in mine to prevent this happening Edited May 19, 2009 by Taid

Just a question Taid, have you just joined the ARCC ?
