fred
I have been getting the classic shove in the back when braking hard, which I beleive is symtomatic of the hitch damper needing replacing. I have ordered and just recieved a replacement damper which comes with one bolt and nyloc nut and something that looks like a silicone elastic band. some my questions are what are the required torque setting for the nuts and what is the band for? Is to keep the damper compressed when fitting or will it become obvious when I remove the old damper?
