Travel To France

Hi, Me and my girlfriend were thinking about going to france in the summer with van via dover then calais, dont want to travel mega miles after that does anyone know of nice sites in that area, how expensive will ferry be, many thanks.

Go's by length of the whole outfit and as you have a 645 hobby twin axle it could be expensive, also some French site do not accept twin axle vans

Some sites have signs to this effect but it is very rarely applied to foreign tourists. It is an excuse to refuse the traveller type (forain or gens de voyage in French). Occassionally, a site may have genuine reasons for refusing twin axles, small pitches, soft ground or just a personal objection.
