From the Calor website. ....

"What is the empty weight of bottles?

All bottles will vary depending on their size, etc. The weight written on the metal disc on the shroud is the weight of the empty cylinder."

Some of what is left in the bottle. .and can be detected by shaking. ..is not fuel at all,it won't ignite under normal circumstances(!) and indeed as a residue can block/damage your system. ........

Yes, we have got two. Excellent idea if it works. Haven't used any gas yet.

Straight swap for the old ones.

Yup! me, i got one and i'm gonna get another one this week, as the exchange program runs out 1st May.

Can't see anything on the Calor Web Site confirming this. Are you sure cos' if that's so I'll have to swap a half empty cylinder in.

thanks

I wasn't aware that there was an exchange programme. I just took mine to Discover in Portsmouth and they swapped them for the new ones. The didn't have any of the old ones anyway.

Sorry but don't know about the 13kg but you will find that an email to Calor will get you a answer

Calor Lite cylinder

Weight of cylinder 4. 52kg

Height 485mm

Diameter 256mm

Weight of full cylinder is10. 52kg

I bought 2 on Monday from Waudbys (even though I have a full standard cylinder) as the price is set to change at the end of this month. Both have gauges and a leaflet attached informing that the gauge only starts to work when the cylinder is half full.

Why does mine always run out when I'm using the cooker or heater?. :o . I then go to the locker, unclip the regulator from the empty bottle and connect it to the full one. :P
