Hi all

This is my first post.

We have an '03 Ranger and went to Michael Jordans today to see if we could part x it and add a bit to upgrade. We came to th conclusion that what we already have is just as good as some of the new ones except for some better storage solutions. We would like someone to add some lockers over the front wndow, fix a new ariel and the cushions need a good clean. Can anyone reccomend soneone that could do this? We live in the North of Surrey.

Thanks

KT

Fitting lockers could be a very difficult job but you can put you own aerial in. Change it for a Status 530. There must be someone near you that advertises suite cleaning.

We know it well. We sometimes pop in there and look at their new vans. We usually end up thinking that we prefer what we already have - a 2001 well used Pageant Imperial.

Welcome to the forum, by the way.

Not sure that lockers over the front windows are that good. Ours are quite shallow inside, but big enough outside that we keep banging our heads on them!!

Would also add weight. And as said, could be tricky as there are probably no good fixing points.

Thanks for your replies. We have a shelf over the front window at the moment and it would just be nice to convert it to a locker as at the moment when we are on the road we have to take everthing off! When we went to Michael Jordans the other day that was the only thing that we felt was advantageous ove the van we have!

Thanks for the ariel tip - will look into that.

Our last van had the shelf over the window as well, we used to keep books and maps and things on it. It was no hassle to lift them down on to the front seat for traveling.

The current van has cupboards, and as stated earlier they are not really deep enough to be of a great deal of use. We always empty all of the high level cupboards of everything but crockery for traveling anyway, store it in a couple of those collapsible plastic boxes on the floor, the van is more stable with the weight low down.

Our Vendee has shallow cupboards, and they're useful for CDs, little electrical gadgets etc.
