AiryWairy
Howdy, Whilst cleaning the hob yesterday (trying to help) I lifted the burner off and the washer fell off and then went and disintegrated on me. Oops. The gas doesn't come through the burner at anything near the right pressure now unless you hold it up from underneath. Anyhoo, I've found some replacement washers at leisureshopdirect. com, so no problem. My question is when I get these washers, do I need any adhesive? The washers seem to just sit around the base of the burner. Any help is greatly appreciated. Brecon
Do not use anything to stick the Cramer ring down, just place in position and refit the burner. Make sure there is no dirt anywhere on the cooker top or burner base which could cause excess air to be drawn in. sblighty
Perhaps an expert can help. .. my Cramer hob has a disintegrated rubber 'grommet' that holds the pan rest into the hob top (4 of them). I haven't been able to find the part on-line, not helped by the fact that I don't know the model number. It's a 3-burner hob, and the owners manual covers 'EK-1101 to 1277, CE-1300 to 1429'.
