WispMan
We have a 2000 Blakemere which is (I think from the instruction booklet) a special version of the Allouette. I do occasionally see references to Blakemeres but never Allouettes. So a Blakemere is a special edition of a what? BTW - we love the Blakemere - 5 berth for the two of us allows each of us to have a double bed. RogerL
The Swift Alouette was used regularly in the days when Swift models had names, all ending in -ette.
SwiftGroup
Hi, The Alouette was a caravan within the Swift Classic Range. The Blakemere was a dealer special caravan based on the Alouette made exclusively for Harrington’s. Two layouts were produced one based on a standard Alouette (two rear parallel seats) and the other based on the Alouette L (L shaped rear seating). Hope this helps, Andy Swift Group Website: www. swiftgroup. co. uk Swift Group Handbooks: www. swiftgroup. co. uk/caravans/handbooks
