hi all, we have a charissma 560 (2004) which we've owned since july last year we love the van and can't really fault it apart from some condensation on the inside(of the van) mainly the front windows first thing in the morning. just wondered if this is common on this van and if there is anything that can be done to stop it or is there some other kind of problem that is causing this thanks mark

Most caravans seem to suffer from this form of window condensation at this time of year, the windows are not hermatically sealed and it is due to the sudden extreme changes in temperature.

A window facing the Sun can see the temperature inside the window drop by 15-20 degrees in a couple of hours at Sunset, similarly at Sunrise a window in direct Sunlight can see a rapid rise in the temperature inside the window by a similar amount, which cause the condensation.

It's not such a problem in the Summer, especially in France.

The only thing you can really do is put the windows on the night ventilation setting.

This is done by locking the window in the middle of the catch as opposed to the end nearest you.
