b6x
Good afternoon all. I'm looking to purchase a stabiliser lock for my van fitted with a Winterhoff "WS3000H". Some locks I've seen are sold as "will only work on the MK1 WS3000 hitch", so how do I know which is which? The van is a circa 2003 Elddis. The hitch is stamped "WS 3000 H" and has a release lever on the side. Also, there appears to be an adjuster on the top that looks like a sliding control labelled "Verschleiss-Anzeige". What does this adjust? I'm assuming it moves the friction pad closer to the tow-ball to account for wear? Is that something I need to adjust manually or is it more of an indication? Many thanks. Hi, Towsure do a selection of hitch locks, there is one specifically for the Winterhoff 3000 called a Robstop The pin which sticks up vertically from your stabiliser is a wear indicator, when new pads are fitted the pin is at the +ve sign, as wear takes place the pin moves over towards the -ve symbol, when the pin reaches the -ve symbol the pads should be replaced (or sooner if they become contaminated). I have included a The Winterhoff Website which gives you more information. GPS
