gwyny
Hi, We decided to sterilize the water system today prior to going away on a short break/trial run and we discovered that if you turn on the shower and/or the bathroom sink taps, the kitchen taps start flowing as if we`ve switched them on. This didn`t happen a few weeks ago when we tried the system out. Does anyone know what`s happening? Replacing the taps is not going to be an option at the moment and am prepared to put up with it if there isn`t an easy solution. Any input would be greatly appreciated Edited March 25, 2009 by gwyny

Thats the mystery. .... When i use the kitchen taps, the bathroom taps stay off however. So ther`s no problem there. ... Guest theboyce
-->QUOTE(Andy B @ Mar 26 2009, 01:05 AM) 242109[/snapback] Is there some kind of tap washer inside them that's perished & failed? the top of the taps will pop off. it is usually a matter of adjustment, but there is a couple of washers. The tops are quite hard to put back on in the correct position. You might need to get your local dealer to do it for you . It should take them no more than 10 mins to put right. Andy B
. ..... If that was the case wouldn`t the tap be dripping/running all the time? The whole system is pressurised when your bathroom tap is turned on ie the microswitch in is switched on too, so if the kitchen tap isn't holding, then it'll let water through.
