Cheers for now JohnT Hi, After you have seen the vet, it will be 24 hours before you are allowed to cross the Channel. It may be better to visit a vet while en route to Calais. It could make a lot of difference to some people.
topazjazz
Hi, I thaught it was on re-entry, but having just checked DEFRA they state: "Your pet must be treated against ticks and tapeworms not less than 24 hours and not more than 48 hours before it is checked in with an approved transport company for its journey into the UK." So it is when you check your dog in with the ferry or eurotunnel in France. Thanks. ....Paul Quote Outfit - Sterling Eccles Solitaire + Vauxhall Antara SE 184 Auto
